• Polpola or Polapola [ Botanical Name - Aerva lanata] also known as mountain knotgrass is a woody, prostrate or succulent, perennial herb in the Amaranthaceae family, native to Asia, Africa. Polpola is a common weed which grows wild everywhere in the plains of India.
